PTSD & FURY Vs NHS Hospital UROLOGY

LOLLI AND THIS SUPRAPUBIC CATHETER DEBACLE IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD.... HAVING TO GO THROUGH ALL THIS HORROR NIGHTMARES JUST FOR A CATHETER & QUIET LIFE...

JUST THE SAME AS WHEN LOLLI HAD HER URETHRAL BLADDER -- ONE NIGHTMARE GP DECIDED TO FIGHT FOR NINE MONTHS AGAINST IT! LITERALLY TOOK A FORMAL COMPLAINT AND A MEETING WITH 2 OTHER GPs TO FINALLY GET LOLLI WHAT SHE NEEDED & DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE HOSPITAL CONSULTANT HIMSELF!!

NOW IT'S THE DISTRICT NURSES BEING IGNORANT, ANNOYING NIGHTMARES ... GAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!

THIS SHIT JUST NEVER, EVER, EVER FREAKING ENDS....!!!

Lolli IS (was, now) Due to have her Suprapubic Catheter Changed “Tomorrow” – Tuesday, 28th March 2023 – because it had been AGREED with the District Nurses that it could now be done Every Four Weeks because it tends to get blocked and require a change within THREE-TO-SIX WEEKS.

Somehow... It's TODAY Mam now has been told by the District Nurses that they have received "Notification in a Letter/Email from the Hospital" they are only to change Lolli's Catheter Once Every 12 WEEKS… For A Catheter that BLOCKS once Every THREE-TO-SIX WEEKS...!!

Because of THIS information ONLY coming to light because MAM AGAIN is Chasing THE DAY BEFORE EXPECTED CATHETER CHANGE DAY… JUST THE SAME AS THE LAST TIME.

I am actually Shaking & Near SOBBING because This Is ABSOLUTELY GETTING HORRENDOUSLY NIGHTMARISH NOW.

This is getting WAY Beyond UNacceptable and into the Realm of "ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??!....

The LAST Catheter change was ANOTHER EMERGENCY ONE and we DISCUSSED WITH the District Nurses That Came, that she could NOW Have it Every 4 WEEKS – having Proven it couldn't and Wouldn't LAST 12 WEEKS. AGAIN.

Lolli hasn't even HAD A Controlled Catheter Change with this new SUPRAPUBIC Catheter. (!!)... EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Has been an EMERGENCY CHANGE... THREE. OF. THEM. And there's about to be a FOURTH soon enough if they don't come soon, now...

LAST TIME we warned that it would not last 12 weeks when they CANCELLED her Catheter Change at the 4-WEEK stage, citing the Hospital has stated every 12 Weeks. It WAS COMPLETELY BLOCKED within  NINE DAYS and they had to come out ANYWAY -- and it was HORRENDOUSLY AWFUL. to try and manage it AS AN EMERGENCY CHANGE, when they also came AT 11:30am! .... Incidentally, Catheter changes need to be pre-planned for days in advance to be able to mange it well... including making sure they're AFTER 2pm, TWO SETS Of Meds Have Been Taken (the 1st one doesn't even allow you to get out of BED)... and at least 30 minutes is given to GETTING Downstairs, because it's an ARDUOUS ORDEAL these days. So An Emergency One is REALLY NOT OK AND ISN'T HELPFUL, IT'S DAMAGING, 

I will also dutifully Mention – NOT ONCE did the DISTRICT NURSES then MENTION that they'd HAD THIS MISSIVE FROM THE HOSPITAL, either. They also TOOK her File Away with her to the Office to "Tidy it up" TWO MONTHS AGO and never brought it BACK. They STILL Won't Give It Back. They are NOTORIOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

The DISTRICT NURSES got this information… And Yet – LOLLI, THE PATIENT, NEVER RECEIVED SUCH A MISSIVE. She's received NO SUCH INFORMATION. IN FACT, SHE'S RECEIVED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM THEM AT ALL. Not even the Promised Referral to an Incontinence Nurse for her New Bowel Incontinence, which Prof Cheszhien told her he would write into her Discharge Notice on 4th December 2022, after being Discharged from being treated for her SEPSIS.

POINT OF FACT – The Hospital hasn't SEEN her or SPOKEN to her to CHECK UP on her SINCE THE SURGERY - on 31st October 2022. They have ENTIRELY DISREGARDED Lolli's SPECIALIST COMPLEX STATE, her DISABILITIES, the consequences of the DECEMBER DEBACLE and HOW ILL she has been SINCE THEN.

They have simply sent a GENERIC MISSIVE to the District Nurses WITHOUT ANY CONSULTATION or CONVERSATION with Lolli or ME - her ADVOCATE/ NOK. IT'S NOT [even!] A CLINICAL DECISION – IT IS GENERIC. NOT THOUGHT OUT AT ALL, TAKING NAUGHT INTO CONSIDERATION EXCEPT HOW TO PRESS THE PRINT BUTTON SO IT CAN BE SENT.

THIS IS LOLLI – THIS IS DANGEROUS, BECAUSE SHE HAS MANY PROBLEMS THIS DREADFULLY UNDERMINES… AND THEY HAVE NOT EVEN DEEMED IT WORTH THEIR TIME TO EVEN FOLLOW UP WITH HER, ON HER, TO SEE WHAT'S GOING ON.

This would be DESPITE MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS to get hold of the CONSULTANT – Prof Cheszhien via his Dangerously INCOMPETENT Secretary PENNY. SINCE NOVEMBER 2022. WE STILL haven't heard back from them -- about ANYTHING….(!!!!!)

– IT'S ABSOLUTELY ABSURDITY ITSELF!!

To Boot… Lolli is STILL in Recovery from What Happened Over Christmas - The SEPSIS, VOMITING, VERTIGO, PAIN… Which means she CANNOT just WAIT for the thing to BLOCK before calling Nurses out in an EMERGENCY.

If there isn't a PROPERLY CONTROLLED CATHETER CHANGE, it means we cannot GO… ANYWHERE Safely – Not even for the DAY. WORSE – We [used to] Often go and have Respite time in PREMIER INN hotels so Mam & Dad can have Quiet Time. We CANNOT DO THIS if we DO NOT KNOW if or when the catheter will BLOCK, because we need to be HERE for the District Nurses to come to the house to change it. (!!)

Lolli Used To Have A CONTROLLED 4-WEEK Catheter Change with her Urethral One… And We GOT SOME kind of LIFE - until it got worse and needed the SUPRAPUBIC.

We have TWO DOGS that need to be Put Away and get ANXIOUS when nurses come to the house. My Dad has to look after them.

It ALSO means RESOURCES Have to be QUICKLY Deployed to her ASAP to have it FIXED - no matter WHEN this happens to BE… From 111 Out Of Hours (already OVER BURDENED) or from District Nurses Having To IMMEDIATELY find ASAP space to deploy to the house to see her.

This Suprapubic Catheter was SUPPOSED to make LOLLI'S LIFE BETTER…. ALL OUR LIVES BETTER. INSTEAD… IT'S BEEN A FREAKING SHAMBLES OF A NIGHTMARE since the very beginning….(!!!)
