A Techno-Brained Humanoid that always seems to be Stuck in a Repeat Boot Cycle & Blue-Screen Overload, and with some Seriously MAJOR Hardware Issues...

 

A Returned Native and Resident of North Wales, from London to Eryri (formally known as Snowdonia)... And it's nice enough -- if you like that sort of thing. It's like living in Skyrim, and it's awe-inspiring. But at the same time, it's very restrictive for someone who is a wheelchair user and, whilst maybe born a little Country Mouse, This Mouse is Absolutely 100%+ A City Mouse.

 

More Specifically, a London-Mouse at heart.

 

This "emigrated" Londoner Happily spent nearly 15 Years there, mainly in North London, with a stint in the East End. 

Was a respected ("Uniquely Quirky/Eccentric/odd"/ etc.) IT Contractor & Pre-Migration DQA Specialist [that's Data Quality Analyst] -- and I got away with a lot of leeway on things in the places where I worked -- wore my toned-down wacky Goth stuff, and my Goth Hair, and Toned-Down Arty Makeup, virtually kept my own hours (but always worked my minimum daily hours at the very minimum) -- because I'm pretty sure they worked on the principle of, "...yeh, but the crazy Goth does the Stuff, so just let her be weird and she'll just keep doing the Stuff"...(!)

...And I'm pretty sure not one of my bosses actually knew what I did, only that they told me what they wanted and I sat happily glued to my desk and computer and kept making it happen.

I really loved being able to do that. 

 

But.... That was before being a Completely Frazzled Mouse that couldn't manage to do anything or go anywhere.

It was months, maybe weeks, before being officially offered a Real Proper Internal & Direct NHS Employment Contract to work for my employer at the time -- a fantastic & prestigious NHS Hospital in South-Central London -- I had it all ripped away from me. In an instant; right by my Birthday.

 

Stuck down with Severe Fibromyalgia at age 32, after a bout of Pneumonia apparently went VERY... "South"; then that seemed to become it's own... Unique... Wackadoodle Monster over the next few years.

Was even Paralysed by it, in the end. 

Then... Somewhere, Somehow... It Stopped being Just Fibro and turned into... Something Else. So, I named it Fibroplegia. 

 

I became lost - jobless, directionless... and eventually, homeless... as in, being kicked out by my [supposed] "best friend" of 10 years, because I was "too much" to cope with, forcing my parents to come and get me and my doggy, Souly, one cold November day... Just over 2 Years to the day of it all starting.

Forcing me to live as a Country Mouse once again.

I am not, will never be, a Country Mouse, again. I miss London and grieve for my life there, like someone who grieves for a lost loved one.

I am still Lost.

I am still a City Mouse.

I am still imprisoned in a body suffocating me with Fibromyalgia, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

But Most Importantly.

I. AM. ME.
