The Lindsey Effect - Continued

Published on 12 March 2024 at 14:43

Listening to Lindsey Stirling on YouTube... Calming, Comforting, Soul-Connecting, Soothing, Flying... Finding out more about her, too.

And WOW!! Lindsey played on stage made up in front of the castle of DISNEYWORLD .... ! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

She did it for Thanksgiving Day night time performance.... And was maybe one week after the 3rd anniversary of Gavi's Death... 28 November 2019...
{That's her bestest friend/surrogate brother & keyboardist, who passed away from heart failure due to cancer — they expected him to actually be successfully treated for it, too, I think}

It still kinda blows my brain that So Ironically Gavi died on the same day I had to pack everything to leave London... 21st November 2015... That Ironically on that day we both lost something and someone so intricately important to us, forever, with a heartbreak and grief that was entirely overwhelming...๐Ÿ˜ž

And then... She's gone on and done what I REALLY thought was going to be The IMPOSSIBLE ... She's helped me manage to listen to music again. It's fucking INCREDIBLE & AMAZING...

She did a version of Carol of the Bells which made music history as the only instrumental to be Number 1 on their version of the Top 10 I think๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

.... I Absolutely FREAKING LOVE THE SHIT OUT OF IT....(!!!)

The album it's from, Warmer In The Winter, was No.1 JOINTLY on Billboard, iTunes and Spotify (I think - 3 major ones, anyway) that Christmas

She just got an award from a "She Rocks" music awards (Amy Lee of Evanescence won in 2021) for one of their 2024 Inspirational Award (bit like a lifetime achievement, in a way) told a story when she came to get it about her mam going on tour with her, and her band, because she was still relatively young — and then driving across America to LA, to try out for the America's Got Talent auditions.

... Her dad died of cancer about 2 months after Gavi did, in early 2016... ๐Ÿ˜ž

She and Amy Lee (Evanescence) — who has been My Person in Music since I was about 22 — and where I got my inspiration from for 20 years henceforth — have been collaborators on several pieces that are utterly Amazing.

When I went to get Souly in his box... It was almost like the baton was passed at that point, between them, for me — when I listened to their collaboration on the Evanescence song HI-LO... Which I had on Repeat when I went there. I had no idea for years it was Lindsey — on the way there I realised the violin piece in it was too familiar and I looked it up... And it was Lindsey.

I shockingly realised then I had loved her playing for YEARS before I'd known her — THAT violin piece in it has been flooring me, moving me, making me feel amazing listening to it, since the first time I heard it, when their Synthesis album came out, which was 2017.

Tellingly, I Originally found her cos of gaming, with her amazing renditions of the themes from Skyrim & Dragon Age, made WAY Back.

I can't believe she's the same age as Little Sis... There's only about 6 weeks between them.

I LOVE the fact her New Video, of her New Song (released 8th March) is the very FU I've had in my head since I've been listening to herWHICH IS THE BIGGEST FUCK YOU TO THE AMERICA'S GOT TALENT JUDGES EVER BY THE SHEER LEVEL OF HER SUCCESS... (!!!!๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€)

She is Fucking Amazing.
