I’ve been pushed from PILLAR TO POST by the Health & Social Care System This ENTIRE YEAR… Mainly by the NHS, though. Forced into demanded & non-negotiated pre-booked appointments, all over EVERYWHERE. We’ve even had to go to & pay for a hotel — including a 2nd room for my mother to drive & accompany — for a few days recently, to cover TWO in a hospital too far to make in a day and back (that one time went horribly wrong, and… NEVER again)… and at DIFFICULT Times.
And those have been pushed back SO HARD for MONTHS already, to the point where it’s “take them or get out”. Not to mention, WHAT happens in the meantime, if you push back IMPORTANT tests & consults SIX Months or more to your health in THAT sense, too??
… Seriously, WHY does EVERY Clinic ONLY DO “Morning Appointments”? Are they afraid of the Afternoon or Evening? Are they all Vampires??
It would mean we could make it to FAR MORE appointments without DECIMATING me, if they were ALL after 2pm — because MEDS do NOT Care about such things when it comes to how long it takes to KICK IN.
What ALL This HAS done to my health is not just WRECK it… It’s RUINED It.
And it’s WORSE than that, because I’m ALSO doing ALL of That, On Top Of Having an Unmovable Post-Op Infection. For TWO Months… and counting.
Tell me… When was I supposed to Rest Up & Recuperate after I got it with UNCOUNTABLE different types of Appointments to make in just these past Two Months Alone?? Especially with either “We can’t wait till Next Year” or “Well, it might be six months or more before we can offer you another one” as the answer to the word NO….?
IS it any wonder, then, that Post Op Infection isn’t going?
The things IS… The GPs aren’t really DOING ANYTHING to actually HELP, either. They’re SO Lacksidaisical, it’s… DISTURBING.
First, it was a big push with double-dose Flucloxacillin. Then Maxitrol Ointment. Then Doxycycline. Then MORE Doxycycline. Now… Flucloxacillin — at HALF that initial Dose… Which makes absolutely ZERO Sense at ALL… WHASOEVER.
If A HUGE Double-Dose didn’t kill it, and the others didn’t touch it… Well. I’m NOT Seeing a piddly dose HALF of that initial doing… um, Anything?
Except help give me MRSA.
... And SEPSIS at this rate — since nothing is actually STOPPING IT.
There’s been NO Other Input. District Nurses Swab, GP gives Antibiotics. Over & Over Again. TWO MONTHS, aka 60 Days, and Counting…

To Be Honest — We REALLY NEED to ask for bloods to be taken next time... And Apparently, yes, IS US that NEEDS to ask... cos they're being WAY too lackadaisical about this, haven't come out to even see me and it's been TWO months since it started....?
AND NOTHING'S WORKED...???? HELLOOOOO?? They haven't even given me more than TWO different types of antibiotic pills and one separate attempt at ointment. At THIS rate, I'm getting SEPSIS, or MRSA, OR BOTH... AND I DON'T FUCKING WANT TO.
SURELY... They should have done at least bloods, right...?? I'm fucking shocked they haven't asked. Disgusted, even...
HOW do they know it's NOT turning into SEPSIS without even looking at bloods? Checking my Whites? I'd be shocked if I wasn't immunocompromised in the way this is going --- and keeps fucking going & going, like the fucking DUCACELL Bunny...
Y'know... I presumed/hoped they would have done it after the 2nd one didn't work, to see how the rest of me was faring -- for Reasons WHY if wasn't bloody working?
There's zero sense of urgency or concern from them... And that REALLY confuses and angers me

PRECISELY SIXTY DAYS [give or take one or two days for not knowing PRECISELY WHEN the infection actually STARTED for SURE]
