DEAR PREMIER INN....
I am an Autistic Person with a severe Physical Disabilities, and for the Nth TIME, I have been at this hotel, I have avoided the reception, speaking to staff and been HYPER DISTRESSED to the point of MELTDOWN because of the UNBEARABLE & OBSCENE Level Of Music NOISE being played there, and through the Restaurant. I can't even HEAR people speaking to me when I've HAD to be FORCED to be there.
I've had to AVOID eating at the restaurant (which I used to LOVE, by the way - but I CAN'T NOW because of this LOUD Music business!), and I'm instead reduced to getting cold food from Tesco/Subway to eat upstairs!
I also AVOID ANYTHING to do with the Lobby -- including talking to the staff about anything... NOT That they're available ANYWAY, with NO OBVOIUS Way of Contacting Them! They HAVE been Complained to about it, but the Noise Level has NOT abated AT ALL.
This makes the RECEPTION, LOBBY, RESTAURANT, AMAZON LOCKERS & VENDING MACHINES completely INACCESSIBLE to me, or anyone else with various Sensory Processing issues (like Migraine Sufferers, of which I am also one of!).
MY PARENTS (I'm 44yo!) had to go to FIND staff to put it down simply so I could go to the lifts, because the noise put me into a Melt! when he came to speak to them, he had to SHOUT to make himself HEARD - and we were next to the Elevators!
I tried using the in-person check in, and my mother had to put her hands over my ears whilst I CRIED and fumbled putting in the information.
It's a RECEPTION Area, NOT A NIGHTCLUB! ... This should NOT have to be POINTED OUT, really, should it?
Every time I've been around there, it's EMPTY unless people are checking in -- so WHO is this NOISE even FOR? And How and WHY do the staff actually TOLORATE it?
Also those check in screen things? Absolutely APPALLING for someone with Severe Disabilities. STOPS Independance. Going to "reception" I have to face a TALL podium TWICE My Height, to look UP at someone STANDING OVER ME, there, to try and talk to them over HORRENSOUS MUSIC NOISE.
